Thank you for being an active member of the F1 ONLINE: THE GAME community. Unfortunately, the game has not attracted the number of active players we required during the beta to make it a viable ongoing service and F1 ONLINE: THE GAME will be closed on Tuesday 7th May 2013.
From this point forward, you will no longer be able to purchase Codemasters Points in-game and all existing points should be used by the time the service is closed at 12pm (UK time) on Tuesday 7th May 2013.
It is sad to have to say goodbye to F1 ONLINE: THE GAME and we hope you had as much fun playing it as we did developing it. While this hasn’t ended the way any of us wanted, we take satisfaction in knowing that we have brought people together to form friendships they may not have happened otherwise.
